With zROM™, we perform a non intrusive analysis of the frequency response of a rectangular thin plate for different shape parameters.
The following video shows the logarithm of the norm of the elastic displacement of a structure subjected to an external force when two geometrical parameters x_length and y_length are varying. The frequency of the external load is changing while the video is played.
The top left corner of the video shows the validation data, computed on a fine grid of the two parameters, The top right corner of the video shows the learning data, defined on a coarse grid of the two parameters. The bottom left corner of the video shows the results obtained by our reduced order model generated by zROM™ on the validation grid points. The bottom right corner of the video shows the evaluation of zROM™ model on a higher resolution grid (the computation of validation data using a traditional solver on such a grid could last days…).
One can observe an excellent agreement between the zROM™ results and the validation data.
